The Story Behind The Shot
−It was one of those summer sunsets that feels too perfect to last—warm light spilling across the prairie with a storm building fast behind it. Bison are one of my favorite animals to photograph, and this moment gave me only a narrow window. The sun was dropping, the wind was rising, and the first sheets of rain were already sweeping in.
Bison are one of the few animals that will walk toward a storm, pushing through it to get to the calm on the other side. She did exactly that—steady and unbothered—while the gusts came hard. One blast of wind kicked up a tumbleweed and pinned it across her face like nature’s own veil. I had just a few minutes to frame it and press the shutter before the light vanished.
That mix of urgency, power, and quiet resilience is why this remains one of my favorite captures of my career.

Product Description
+The Birch Signature Series transforms your most meaningful photo into a statement piece with depth, warmth, and permanence—printed directly onto high-quality Baltic birch and finished with a deep, hand-crafted solid hardwood border. From wedding portraits to landscapes, each piece is designed to turn a favorite image into dimensional heirloom art with a richer, more substantial presence on the wall.
Real Wood. Real Species. Real Results.
Not all "real wood" prints are what they seem. Many companies use stained pine and present it as something more premium. We don't.
Each piece is crafted from true Baltic birch and finished with your choice of maple, cherry, or walnut—the actual species, with the natural grain, tone, and character that make every print unique.
True Color on Natural Grain
We use high-quality Baltic birch selected for its smooth surface, structural stability, and warm natural grain. Your image is printed directly onto the wood using our True Color Printing Technology™, delivering rich color, soft tonal transitions, and deeper shadows while preserving the texture and organic character of the wood.
The deep solid hardwood border adds presence, structure, and a more substantial gallery-style finish—giving the piece added depth on the wall and a refined, elevated presentation.
Made to display. Built to endure.

Mounting Instructions
+All mounting hardware for drywall hanging is included. Follow these steps to hang your print:
- Once you've chosen a location, level the French cleat using a level or leveling app on your phone.
- While holding the cleat level, use a thin tool to mark the location of each hole on the drywall by inserting it in the thru-hole drilled on the cleat.
- Remove the cleat and install each drywall screw at the marked locations. Do not loosen the screw during this process; if loosened, the print will not be secure and a new location should be used.
- Place the cleat with the tallest edge toward you and the thru-holes aligned with the drywall screws. One by one, screw the black screws into the drywall screws until the cleat is firm and snug against the wall.
- Hang the photo so the two cleats form a stable mate.
Note: If the print isn't perfectly level, minor adjustments can be made by placing a small, folded piece of paper on either side of the cleat that needs to come up.
