Wood & Slate is a small, family-run studio in Northern Colorado, founded and operated by Alexa and Jordan.
What began as a personal project — finding a meaningful way to preserve memories of their adventures with their two German Shepherds, Indy and Ari — grew into a deeper creative pursuit. Guided by the belief that art shouldn't be artificial, they turned away from conventional photo paper and canvas, instead embracing the natural textures of materials like Baltic birch and, more recently, artisan leather.

With a background in product design and high-volume manufacturing, Jordan brings technical precision and a passion for refined detail, while Alexa contributes a thoughtful, creative eye. The result is a collection of work that blends image and object — where every piece is not just a print, but a crafted work of art.
